About Our Location
Flying Saddle Resort is located on the banks of the Snake River at the entrance to the Snake River Canyon. We are surrounded by wildlife, from elk refuges to a herd of mountain goats that lives in a nearby canyon. You can explore 445 miles of snowmobile trails starting less than a mile from our property, hike through the Bridger-Teton National Forest, fish the famous Snake River, or take a guided wildlife safari or hunting expedition, all without leaving our area.
About Flying Saddle Resort
We are a full-service, upscale rustic, historic resort. Built in 1949 as a gift for the original owners’ son, who was a returning World War II hero, Flying Saddle Resort was entirely renovated in 2008. Today, we feature standard motel rooms in the original building, larger rooms with balconies in our new Tower building, and intimate private cabins perfect for a romantic getaway.
Amenities include a decadent yet affordable Western steakhouse, a laid-back Western sports bar, a huge heated indoor pool and hot tub, a fitness room, a tennis court, an outdoor patio, a gift shop, and even a drive-through liquor store.
